The Village Rovers Dog Club was established in August 2022 to facilitate the process of planning and building an off-leash dog park for residents and their dogs in Sunland Village East.

Phase I of the dog park (sidewalk and fencing) was completed in June 2024, and Phase II, including a shade structure and drinking fountain, is scheduled for completion by July 2025.
Our monthly meetings feature speakers on topics of interest to dog owners. We have raised money for the dog park through a variety of programs including an annual golf tournament, seasonal Farmers Markets and a photo calendar. The dog club also is a great place to share resources for our dogs.
